Bismillah iRahman iRaheem!
Readers, read the dialogue between Allah and Shaitaan after Adam was created:
Surely We created you, then shaped you, then said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam,” so they all did—but not Iblîs, who refused to prostrate with the others.
Allah said: 'What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you to do so?' He said: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him You created from clay.'
Allah said: 'Then get you down from here. It does not behoove you to be arrogant here. So be gone. You will be among the humiliated.'
Satan replied: 'Give me respite till the Day they shall be raised.'
Allah said: 'You are granted respite.'
[Satan] said, "Because You have put me in error, I will surely sit in wait for them [i.e., mankind] on Your straight path.
Then I will come upon them from the front and from the rear, and from their right and from their left. And You will not find most of them thankful.'
Allah said: 'Go away from here - disgraced and expelled. I shall fill the Hell with all those that follow you.
Here is a prayer of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to seek protection. Protection is sought from all directions that Shaitaan promised to attack from but also from above and beneath.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the next.
O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion, in my worldly affairs, in my family, and in my wealth.
O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears.
O Allah, guard me from in front of me and behind me, from my right, and from my left, and from above me.
I seek protection in Your Greatness from being unexpectedly destroyed from beneath me.
